A short-lived installation
An installation under the hall of the Georges Brassens Park (Paris 15th district)
at the entrance of the market of old books and opportunities.
« A moment was still, the wind blew
And the old books with damaged bindings
Saw their pages fly away, …
They float still, there in the air, in suspension.
Playing in the wind and intriguing the passers-by,
A call, a signal, inviting them to come
In this more and more deserted market, to
Exchange with nostalgic booksellers of a past time
Where books were still sacred.»
« Un instant figé, le vent a soufflé
Et les vieux livres aux reliures abîmées
Ont vu leurs pages s’envoler,…
Elles sont là figées dans les airs, en suspension.
Jouant dans le vent et intriguant les passants,
Un appel, un signal, les invitant à rentrer
Dans ce marché de plus en plus déserté,
Échanger avec des libraires nostalgiques d’un temps passé
Où les livres étaient bien plus sacrés.»
